For this pattern I got myself inspired by Escher. The butterfly shapes are identical and fit into each other like a puzzle (though it might be hard to tell due to the crazy colours and patterns in the wings). But it truly was a puzzle for me to work on!
This took so much of my time to get it right haha. It was a real challenge. But I am not sure if I am that satisfied with the result yet, it's a bit chaotic *^___^* How silly is that.
Nevertheless it was a learning experience *wipes drops of sweat from head* :P
