While reading a bit about butterflies for my entry into this week's contest, I discovered that some species of butterfly thrive in cities. If everyone left a small area of their garden or yard for wild, native plants to grow or planted butterfly friendly flowers, their habitat area would increase significantly! Don't forget about the caterpillars though, they like to munch different plants to the parent butterfly :)
