Design by Rhonda W. © 2010. After the rain has showered the thirsty land, the new green growth covers the bare brown earth.
After the rain has showered the thirsty land, the new green growth covers the bare brown earth and camouflages the dry sand dunes of the parched desert. Golden glints of sunlight gleam across the landscape, while rainclouds cast shadows on the hilltop. This collection of designs was inspired by my appreciation of the perilous beauty of the Australian landscape, in all it's many moods! This is an original hand drawn design by Rhonda W. © 2010. *PLEASE NOTE:- THIS DESIGN HAS BEEN RE-SET AT 300 PPI FOR FABRIC. If you would like to purchase it set at a different scale, please send me a message so that I can adjust the settings to suit your requirements.

After the Rains - Leadlight Landscape :
Thank you very much for your wonderful praise of this design, Winterblossom! I am so glad to read that you can feel the "moodiness" of the landscape!:-)
I'm really smitten with this design. It is just SO atmospheric, so moody. Bought a FQ to frame. This free shipping gives you a good excuse to spend, spend, spend! eeek! But this design is so interesting. I shall love looking at it ....
Thank you so much for taking a look at the designs in this collection, Boo! Your thoughtful and heartfelt words of praise mean a lot to me! Like you, I am in awe of the rugged beauty of the Australian landscape in its many different guises. This set of designs was my attempt to share this vision via the medium of surface design. I am so glad that you think I succeeded!<3
I can almost see the shadows of the clouds moving over this landscape as it turns green after rain. I'm blown away by how perfectly you have captured the moods of the landscape in these four designs Rhonda, simply stunning work! I'm so moved I can actually feel tears prickling my eyes!! What a great country we live in. How extraordinary that you have captured it so perfectly and yet with such (apparent) simplicity - though I expect a huge amount of work has gone into doing so...
Thanks for your interest in this design, Catherine (of user name: "june2006"). I have enlarged the design to the maximum printable size of 150 dpi so that you can look at it at this scale.

I love your description of this wonderful variation, Rhonda. It really does seem as though there are clouds drifting, just out of sight, above these hills.
