Thanks Su and Simboko!

Also it is beautifully bold and dramatic - I can easily see this in clothing. For instance, 2 yards would be enough for a sheath dress and to make sure the motifs were dramatically (& appropriately) placed on the dress.
Has a good "large scale" feeling, this design - and it is great to see it in printed fabric, especially as the red is a little brighter in print. A buyer can tell that now and won't be surprised!
Pillow cases would be lovely!

Thanks a lot. I keep thinking about making pillow cases of the yardage I have.

AWWW; thanks so much..........I hope it can have the effect that I'm wishing for.
Sooo gorgeous Joan, I love the super large scale of it. I can't wait to see how it prints either, it's going to be beautiful either way!
Thanks so much!
I also think this is beautiful - simple yet wonderful detail! Can't wait to see how it prints out!--good luck with the reds--I'm sure it will turn out great!:)
I like it on the monitor alot, but I may keep dabbling with the color some..........I feel sure, it will print a wonky orange at this color range. I do have some good samplers on color, that I didn't use at the time of the design. I would love to see this on the silk and I think it will be worth the effort to go back and meddle with the "red"............
I have seen some gorgeous pillow cases with large scale poppies......that have been posted by Flickr users. If I can get the red the way I want it, then the quilting cotton would be neat for basic pillowcases or even the sateen for shams. I may have to reduce the scale just a little though. But I am nervous about this one. Your encouragement helps.
Gorgeous, juicy poppies!
