What a festive way to decorate for your Byzantine party! or as a great decor item to add where a Byzantine flag would not fit. Here shown are aspects of the flags of the Byzantine Empire; a gold crown on red background, and the black double headed eagle on a yellow/gold background. Little flags that are easy to sew, or no-sew, to hang on your wall. Sew a backing on, sew the triangles back-to-back, or simply iron on fusible interfacing to the back, and connect with a ribbon, string, or bias tape. Simply iron on interfacing to the back and cut in the middle of the black triangle lines. Use them singly or put two together to make a front and back for each little flag. Attach them directly to one another, or to a string, ribbon, or bias tape.
