Description:

Stars based on the vertices of the hexagon lattice but rotated and logarithmically reduced before being repeated. Six-pointed stars based on the vertices of the hexagon lattice but rotated and logarithmically reduced (in 2 colour gradients, in some versions) before being repeated once again. Currently displaying a joined-up 12-pointed version in nationalistic red, white and blue. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together.

sef says: Good luck with that. You probably won't be able to make her wear it! :-D

bobgreenwade says: Okay, now all I need is for someone to make Lynda Carter a dress made from this. :)

sef

sef says: Well this *is* the colour-changing copy, rather than one of the ones having a fixed limited-palette colour scheme. It was about time it switched for the summer anyway.

bobgree...

bobgreenwade says: An interesting bit: I looked at this one, and thought, "With a red, white, and blue colorway, this would be very evocative of the Wonder Woman TV show!"

sef

sef says: I have a new policy of generating co-ordinates for all the restricted palette contests - which will of course include the non-competitive synergy ones. This will generally consist of a permanent 4in1 set (with variable inclusions) for people to order as fat quarters on a fabric yard or as gift-wrap; plus any permanent or temporary stand-alone versions of existing designs that I deem suitable. This one is intended only as a temporary inclusion under this palette and will revert or continue to rotate to other colour schemes (on my whim or upon specific requests).

glimmer...

glimmericks says: What better design for this challenge than a sky full of enchanted stars spirally off into dreamland! I so hope you are setting this design up in the Stars (Synergy0012), Movie (Synergy0009) and Time Travel (Synergy0007) palettes for the Synergy Challenge Project too! I love the sense of movement in this design and it would be a good fit for all three themes.

sef

sef says: The trouble with 12pt circles (and 8 pt ones) is how rigid they can seem (while creating those shapes between them!). I was debating whether to upload the 9pt non-offset one (instead or as well) because it has more "flow" around its triad axes.

mayabella says: Ooo I love this one too! Great color choices. And I love how it creates so many different shapes.
