But with its undersized brakes and sluggi The iconic bullet nose 1950 Studebaker had an identity problem. It wanted to be an airplane when it grew up. But with its undersized brakes and sluggish engine, it was destined to stay firmly on the ground. It remains a goofy slice of mid century modern nostalgia. Who can look at a 1950 Studebaker and not grin? This particular convertible version is in a large scale for curtains, bedspreads, or other projects where it will be seen from a distance, and in bright non-stock colors to add cheer to anyplace it goes. This version also gets far better miles per gallon than its real life counterpart. You never have to put any gas in its tank.
