The Studebaker Corporation was in business from 1852 through 1966, first making horse drawn vehicles, then electric ones, and finally gasoline powered cars and trucks. In 1959, they introduced a compact car for the new small car market. That car, named the Lark, kept the company alive a few extra years. The 1959 and 1960 version had a single headlight on each side. In 1962 they went to double headlights.
