By day I am an upstanding mosaic designer for New Ravenna Mosaics on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. By night I am a superdork drawing whatever weird things pop into my head. By morning I'm exhausted.

Visit this designer's shop

Description:

They are the Spring Maid, the Lady of Summer, Autumn Mother and the Winter Queen. Together with their familiars, they are the guardians of the seasons. Drawn with a big box of crayons and a hard eraser for blending. I figure these ladies would work well for a coordinating set of napkins or pillow fronts, or art pieces. The larger rolls of fabric also include four smaller versions to use as doll napkins, giant coasters or fancy hankies.

victori...

victorialasher says: If you think the coasters are too big you could make them smaller, and add a coordinating design for the backs. Coasters would be better being backed, they could even have a layer of something between to give them a little padding.

rhondad...

rhondadesigns says: These sensational designs are far too special to use for napkins! Imagine the horror of any guest who dropped food on their pristine beauty! And who would dare wipe sticky fingers or smudged mouths on these lovely ladies? However, the panels would be wonderful for quilts, cushions and wallhangings.

ceanirminger says: Thanks Vo and Scrummy! This contest has reminded me how much I hate crayons. I won't tell you how many died in the creation of this entry. Luckily I tried to fix a mistake with an eraser and discovered the blendy trick or else I would have scrapped the whole idea.
