Thanks so much for your thought on this Sue Ellen, especially re the color trim at the neck as a replacement for jewelery in summer - that is such a good idea! I do think they look rather cute & it was interesting for me to see how much changing the trim colors changed the whole - I learnt something there!

I see you got it drawn up! it works great on the clean lines of the A, which fits so many body types so well. The solid color trim is a nice touch at the neck, especially for summer, when jewelry is a bother.
The dress for this design, with trim in three different colors.

Oh Sue Ellen - thanks so much for you comment! And isn't that just one beauty of Spoonflower - that you can revisit those favorite fabrics that you wore to bits! Your dress sounds fantastic (not to mention the kitten heels), I'm seeing this in a little A-line, 60s number, but haven't drawn that up... yet! You're so motivating me tho'!
Very Mondrian, and very American Southwest, both at once! Nice clean colors and lines, very refreshing and up-lifting. (Not to mention that it reminds me of a favorite dress of mine that was white, with colored appliques of various shapes in the same colors as your fabric, and button-on pocketbooks matching the appliques ... I loved that dress, and I had white leather kitten heels, with red/blue parti-colored toes to wear with it. That dress was eventually worn to pieces, but, if I had had this fabric, I could have made a replacement. :-) )
