I found this bizarre illustration in an 1890's seed catalog. (Original was in black and white).
Why they wrote the word "telephone" on the top of a pea pod escapes me. They did not give a number in the illustration, just that word and the peas.
I thought this might work well as fabric for an apron, particularly a backyard barbecue type.
