Sylvie said it, stunning! I am happy to see this was in the "Fishing" contest top 10 a couple years ago. Fine art stands the test of time. Well done!

This is such a beautiful fabric. I've been looking at it for a while now. OH! I think I just thought of something to make with it! =)

Hehehe. Thanks catrionat! I skirt could be really nice. Or a maxi dress. Or as a duvet cover. I don't have time to make anything yet... can't wait for the holidays to come round again :)

I LOVE this! But what should I make? Skirt? Shirt? Shirt for my husband or son? Just beautiful!
I am soooo happy for you! And a little jealous - you can play with it already, I'll have to wait abit longer for mine to arrive. Your skirt will be gorgeous!

I got my fabric in a cotton voile and it is gorgeous!
Aw shucks Joanne, Kelly, Victoria, Tineke... thank you.
Congrats on 2nd with this beautiful design, fantastic work!!
ooh, this is so lovely. you did a great job capturing the feel of batik and yet without all the waxy crack lines - I'm guessing it must be the golden dots and the skillful use of gradients - but I sure wouldn't have thought to emulate batik this way. I love how elegant it looks. And the fish-hook floral motif is really neat too.
Congratulations on second place; and so close. I'm looking forward to seeing the proof.
congratualations on second place! This design was one of my favorites! I'm realy like to see this fabric printed out! I think it will be beautifull!
Hehe. Thank you! And Lisa: hehe, no indeed!
beautiful :-) runner up - not too shabby!
Oh, I just knew this was winner! Congratulations, on second place :D
Wowww... thank you so much for all the votes! I really didn't think that I'd make the top 10... thank you thank you!
I hadn't noticed this before, but WOW! Beautiful! The fine dots around the edges bring it completely to life. Wonderful job & congrats on your 2nd place.
Congratulations! Well done with your 2nd place in this week's contest!
Haha. A long skirt would be quite nice. Or maybe just as a wall hanging. Thanks for the comments, really appreciate them!
Wow! this is stunning, i'm very impressed! I also would love to see how it prints up! fabulous!!
Wow, the zoom is even more breathtaking! I cannot wait to see it printed up! Amazing work, Ravenous!
Spectacularly lovely design. Yes a long sarong-type skirt or dress. Or curtains. Something on one of the wider fabrics where the whole design can show...
Oh yes... some river plants on the right edge. I am not sure how to go about resizing this, but the whole design definitely shows on sateen.
This is an absolutely beautiful design. In closeup it looks like some key stuff on the right drops off - will it fit on a sateen? Anyone who fails to enlarge this will be missing something wonderful!
Thank you for your fantastic comments. And I already like your ideas, Trisha!
I agree with Rhonda, what a magical border this would make for a quilt, a bed skirt, a daring kitchen design . . . I like best a fabric that lends itself to a variety of placement. And just splendid colors.
This is so beautiful!
Gorgeous! I want a skirt out of this one.
This is stunning!
This is a marvelous, mysterious underwater world that you have depicted in this splendid border print!
