Jillian, It's great how you have integrated the bed motif in a classic stripe pattern.
I love it and I would like to see this in other great colors shemes.

Thanks a lot Tallulah11 and Joanne!
This is fabulous Jillian, wonderful illustrations as always and such a cool layout! Love the bright, funky colours and beautiful patterning too! Somehow she still manages to look better than i do in the mornings even when she has had no sleep and i've had a full night's sleep!!
the princess reminds me of a young Kate Bush! :)
Appreciate your comments Fattcheese and Patty! :)
sooo lovely, Jillian, and I love your description! Her bed head is spot on too!
Pretty fabric :)
Thanks so much Beebumble, Corinnevail, Rengal, and Grace!
wonderful illustration as always! beautiful!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the colors, how hight the mattresses are stacked, the hair....just love it!
This is soo cool, I love how you repeated out the mattressess and the hair on that girl is great!
Congratulations Peacoquette! Thank you for the luck :). I am sure yours would of been as awesome as your current entry Vo, but thank you!
Whew! I'm glad I didn't do this was because ummm, well, your's is better than what I had in mind. Sooo fun, great colors and I'm cracking up!
Teehee! Good job! I have a completely differently styled fabric book I have been working on about this story and I am 8 months pregnant as well! Good luck with your baby and this design!
Such great comments, thank you Victoria, Cean, and Drea! Yep, the little ladies found their way back in my design again :).
He-he, hap-pea-ly -- nice one, cean! Yeah! the little ladies are back! Love the layers of colors and story -- she can borrow my C-full body pillow...it was the only way I slept from 3 months on!:)
Wonderful layers and colors, and a perfect grouchy princess to boot. I hope your own pea arrives nice and easy and you all live hap-pea-ly ever after!
Love this. Her face is wonderful. I have a special place in my heart for this story. My mother used to call me the princess and the pea, because the tiniest things would make me uncomfortable. I also loved the Carol Burnett version of this story; the musical, "Once Upon a Mattresss"
Wow, Thank you so much Flinchum Creations, Mona, Pink Soda Pop, Sharon, Catru, Rachel, and Stage Mother!!!
Cute and fun. I particularly love the bed head look
great design, and it definitely resonates well with pregnancy, especially the later stages. super!
I love your description too :D wonderful and sweet design :)
ooo glorious! love love love your colours! :) xxx

Absolutely love this! Nicely done, Jillian! Great design!
Very cute scene progression! =) I love the mattress layers! Great job depicting the folk tale! I just had a baby 7 months ago and can still remember sleeping on the loveseat with my head propped up on one end with two pillows, a pillow under my lower back, and my feet propped up over the side of the end of the loveseat on top of another pillow with my dog Logan sandwiched in between myself and the back cushions. I guess you could say he was my little pea. Ahhhhhh...good times...Good luck with the contest! Get what little amount of sleep you can now! =)
Thank you Rhonda and Samarra! Haha, sack of potatoes!
HAHAHA. Love the description. I'm with ya on that one! I'm due in exactly one week, so no more sleeping with a lumpy sack of potatoes! Love the design!
I love your fantastic illustrations of these episodes in the sleepless night saga of the "Princess and the Pea", Jillian! The wild hair and the look of dejected frustration on the Princess's face are just so apt after a restless night!
Close ups of the princess. Trying to fix how blurry the image looks in the FQ view, it looks fine on the other views :/.
