Kitty Jay is a sad melancholy tale of a poor servant girl who kills herself and is buried at a lonely cross roads on the wild moor. Her grave still exists and always has fresh flowers laid on her grave but no one knows who places them there. Both tale and place are close to my heart. These flowers, snowdrops, foxgloves and bluebells are all wild flowers that grow on the moor and can be found on kitty jays grave. I have tried to relay the atmosphere of the place and tale that are so intertwined. I have added this link to a beautiful song by Seth Lakeman that tells the tale of Kitty Jay. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw6dPKorOBs
