Companion fabric for the Daniel Bingham sewing patterns for 16" dolls shown below (patterns purchased separately). 1 fat quarter includes the printed fabrics for 1 each of the dress, handbag and hat trim. Linings, notions and, in the case of the hat,28ct linen fabric needs to be purchased separately. The original designs were made in Habotai silk - we suggest the Silk Crepe de Chine, the Quilting Weight Cotton or The Cotton Voile. The Cotton Sateen is a little heavier, but would also be OK. Please note, if you want to make the hat for larger dolls such as Ellowyne Wilde, you will need more beige fabric to bind the brim. An 8inch swatch of this fabric will be enough. Enlarge your hat pattern pieces 133% and use 1/3" seams.
