These designs are made from a couple of Japanese fabric stamps I found last weekend at a local ephemeral Japanese antiques store. They are my attempts at 2 shades of indigo dye, plus an antique-brown-dye effect actually derived from the wood of the stamp. Virtual antique Japanese stamped indigo fabric! I have made the size slightly smaller than in the fabric image below, more like the size of the stamp. The background is subtly textured. It prints very much like it looks here.
