These designs are made from a couple of Japanese fabric stamps I found last weekend at a local ephemeral Japanese antiques store. __
They are my attempts at 2 shades of indigo dye. Virtual antique Japanese stamped indigo fabric! __
Well, turns out that although the stamps came from Japan, where they were used to stamp fabric, they were carved in India. __
2012 tested & adjusted for the new color printing.
