LOL, thanks Amy G. This one is so old I'd love to see someone color this one in!

I spy with my little eye fishies in there! Love this....one could keep the kiddies busy for hours coloring this fab design in!
It looks really awesome :)!

Thank you CVoorhee and Damita!

It is gorgeous and so intricate.
very beautiful - love the black and white - stunning.
Julie, LOL, thanks! I would love to see this design as any kind of article of clothing. I rarely do anything in mirror but this one just begged for it. It'd make a huge statement as a cloak wouldn't it?

just a complete stunner! I'm wondering if it could work for a kimono-style cloak - would take some super clever cutting, but WOW!
Drea, thanks. Fun exercise to do that's for sure.

Just awesome, vo! - love what the mirror repeat turned this into! Beautiful!
Kezia, thanks sooo much! btw, congrats on your win. Super cute design!
Ooh this is beautiful!
hahaha, I'd just do it right here in my graphics program. No need to scan!
Perhaps if you get a fedex FQ you could colour it in with icecream and scan ~ voila!
But black, white and red (or yellow) are fabulous combos!
ooooo on silk as a scarf.... if this was a table runner the kids would be blobbing ketchup 'colouring it in' ;) xxx
Mucho thanks SK, It's just busy enough to keep people from tasting my food if I have it as a table runner! hahahaha.
Really beautiful, vo! It would make a stunning table runner, I think! Lovely!
Melanie! We do have a similar look to our designs! I think we both love curvy loops and black and white squares! hahah, I think we have good taste!
Elvina, thanks for noticing the whole 3-D thing! hahaha, it's so psychedelic isn't it?
I like this! At first glance I thought it was mine - we ended up with a similar shape, I think!
wow! It's almost 3-D! Cool!
:-) Thanks Cean! hahaha, I love those magic picture thingys. Makes my eyes go wacky!
Wow! It's like a 3D magic picture thingy! Love the details and the abstractness made out of recognizable elements. Marvelous!
Majo! Thanks, I'm so glad you like it!
I looooooooove it! Even though it is a B/W design, it is totally kaleidoscopic!!!
Alex, Acbeilke and Francine: I did a number of these over the last week or so and this one came out looking the best with fairly good balance. I hope everyone rocks their eyeballs looking at it!
Victoria, yeah, Zentangles is an odd duck. It's basically doodling which just about everyone does in their lifetime. It's not really a new artform so what I've read about it, is a little confusing.
Wow this is so beautiful - I especially love those ribbon like elements folding in and away from itself. Organic symmetry rocking my eyeballs!
Sara, yep, lots of textures and it was refreshing to work with pen/ink instead of digitally.
wow this is intense! beautiful work
That's funny Victoria - the same thing happened to me...got tangled up in a zentangle and forgot what I was doing. Nice one Vo!
I thought I had commented on this fantastic design. It proves that sometimes mirror repeat works really well. I know what happened I went to look up zentangles and got lost; and I still don't understand exactly what makes something a zentangle.
Very cool! So many different textures!
Kelly and Shin, thanks girls! <3
Flinchum, hahaha, yeah, that one fish is def eying those tentacles. I think he thinks they're worms.

Rosanna, I'm eying this design for chair pads.
Poetry, thanks. :-) Rachel, It was interesting trying to get the solid vs lines, black vs white balance using this doodle technique.
absolutely wonderful. Love it!
Another amazing design. This would be a great home decor fabric! Good luck!
I didn't see the tentacles until I zoomed in on the image. The fish doesn't seem to happy to see them! He's like...uh oh! Great design. It is very well balanced and looks great as a fat quarter and as a yard. I was so happy with my B&W entry until everybody started entering all these complicated and beautiful patterns. Hmmmm...I am feeling a little outclassed. =)
woo, this is so trippy. it looks great in repeat and the composition has the eye moving everywhere.
ZOWIE! I LOVE how a full yard prints up!
LOL, there is also a fishing net. I figured you'd find fishes underneath the lotus. hahaha' 'cept that doesn't mean you'd find tentacles but artistic license ya know?
fantastic doodling work, Vo!!!! :) :) :) love that is about lotus, and those fishes are really a cute fun thing to find in such complex repeat work :)
Whew! Doodling is hard work! Sharon and Nadja, thanks so much. Jo, I did 5 different doodles trying to get the scale right so it looked good on SF. Lucinda, it's funny the fish shapes just appeared so I went with it and added some tentacles for fun. It organically grew. Kiwi, :-) Thanks, it was great fun doodling and then seeing it morph into something totally different.
Vo, this is beautiful! The fish detail and the beaded web is stunning. I also really like the repeat for one yard view. Excellent in every way.
There is an amazing amount of intricate detail to mesmerise the mind in this fascinating design, Vo!
Very nice. I didn't notice the fish until I zoomed in. I like all the underwater elements you have going on in your design.
Oh i'm mega loving this one Vo, are you thinking of entering this one? i would if i were you....totally cool and groovy, I toyed with the idea of doing a zentangle but thought someone may do one better....I was right hahaha! (I should have known it'd be you!!) LOVE it!!!
love love love xxx
