What a rgeat comment Evelyn - thank you so much! It *could* have been the same Rainbow Serpent in that book - I believe it is a great traveler...

I grew up reading a Hawaiian book called Maile and the Marvelous One by Bernadette Gomes. It featured probably a different rainbow serpent. Your design made me think of that and smile. : )
It does look pretty funky as wallpaper doesn't it? Thanks for having a look at it Deborah! (I hope you were wearing your sunnies!)

So glad this design is for sale now. This design makes a great wallpaper too.
Certainly bright in the wallpaper mockup - I can see it in small doses in a children's room. (My husband said "Not with that furniture!" - but at least it matches those orange flowers!)

Thank you all so much for taking the time to comment on the Rainbow Serpent - it was so lovely to wake up to your great feedback on this naive little design. Thanks again, xxx :-) !!

So bright and colourful! : )
I love the 3D effect from your gifted glitter gun that brought that slippery little serpent to life again. I could swaer you and Rhonda are sisters with your beautiful, imaginative descriptions of everyones designs.
Well, perhaps extinct in waking life ... but I'm sure that any serpent this delightful (not to mention useful!) must still be being sung into existence in the other reality of dreams. Lovely, Su!!!
So fun!!!:)Love the tale too:)
I love it. This is so cool and the tale you tell. Great!
You have created a vibrant new fabric landscape to illustrate this classic Dreamtime story, Su! Your brightly coloured design is full of joyful vitality. Indeed, you could say that it is wriggling and squirming with barely contained energy!
We've got lots of serpents hanging around here this summer. One crawling up the front of the house and one sticking it head out from behind the garage door trim. A little too close for me and none are so pretty, since those have become "extinct".
This is striking!
Thanks for the comments Patrician and Nekanen - glad you like the bright colors... and Patricia, this serpent may still pop up in your rainbow stripes... it's a real traveler!
Very nice! I love the story too! Your bright colours are very pretty!
This is a fun coincidence, because I am working on rainbow stripes across a sheet of paper. But the serpent has not yet arrived! There are more miracles waiting to be created! :)
