Thank you, Countrygarden.
:) - yeah, this community really is a loving boosting up in our skills!!! :D I totally agree, in fact, the money is in the bottom of the best prizes we really win here (sharing, learning, love, fun, creativity feed, challenges)

Thanks, Catru. You certainly have the talent and skill to win. But the truth is that Spoonflower is so rich with talented designers that winning is a real challenge - which means that competing against them can win us the prize of improving our skills and stretching our imaginations faster than we otherwise would. So even if we don't grab that $100, we still win something pretty good! :)
I expected to see this one in top ten... it was a very tough contest though, really too many great entries, your place is still awesome :) well, anyway I do understand you, I wish someday I could win too :D
Happy to have entertained you, Isabella! I had high hopes that this one would get me into the top ten this week, but it's fun enough knowing that it's given enjoyment to you and the other commenters below. One of these days I want to win that $100, though, just so I can buy a bunch of my own fabric! :)
I've spent ages admiring every delightful detail of this design. It's very easy to be drawn into this flower fairy world.
Thanks, Kathleen. I want to color it myself... hey, I can! :)
Fantastic drawing. Makes me want to color it!
Thank you, Babysiterrae! Thank you, Saraink!
AMAZING detail and beautiful drawings! So lovely!
Thank you, Uzumakijo! I am rather fond of the baby fairy, myself. Such a cuddly bundle.
This is a wonderful design, love the hidden little fairies - sooo cute, I agree with Carina, loving the cosy wrapped baby fairy, looks like he's got a cute caterpillar suit on aw! - great to see the close ups!
Thank you Nadja, Tallulah, Annosch, Rhonda! I'm so glad you're liking this one. And Tallulah, no it's not from a pencil drawing. I drew it in Photoshop elements with a "basic brush".
Thanks, Catru. I'm glad the wrapped up baby makes you feel that way. That's the feeling I was going for. :)
I love this enchanting family of darling fairies hiding among the flowers!
WOW! What a beautiful design! Great drawings and fantastic job with the repeat!
Ooops! Forgot this little guy!
tallulahdahling uploaded a fabric image for
Flower-Fairy Family :
that is so cute, is it from a pencil drawing?
ADORABLE :) and hooray for succeding in the uploading of zooming images :D
Close up of details. Hooray! I did it!
this design is beautiful. I love the small details of the elves hidden in the flowers
ooo keep trying to upload the detail pics ~ not sure what the redX thing is, but if it's not a private pic on flickr you should be able to view it here. I did look at your zoom view to see those sweeties. It's a hard choice between showing fabric repeat and showing details isn't it! xxx
aww, this is adorable!! and that little all wrapped fairy baby makes me wish I could hug and kiss him :)
I wish the viewer could see a closer-up version. I tried to use the Flicker account for this, but I've never used it before. I managed to get the close-up samples onto Flicker, but when I try to post them here, I get the dreaded RED X instead of an image. I think I've read all instructions. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. But if you can love this design without the close-up samples, I guess I don't have to worry. :)
I love this, awesome xxx
