The black & white contest encouraged me to redraw this, one of the first computer drawings I did. Although this maybe looks like leaves, in other colors, I see it as stylized fire.
Considering that black doesn't print really dark at Spoonflower, I wanted a design which didn't have large areas of black, and had a varied texture. (negative space)
