wide fabric.
This and my other placemat designs are all derived from my own photographs, © Karen Langer-Gault. This digital watercolor was derived from my photo taken at beautiful park in St. Louis, MO and is one of my personal favorites. You can easily make 1-sided or reversible 2-sided 12x18 inch placemats from 1 yard of 54" fabric. I like to use one yard of my placemat fabric and one yard of a color coordinated repeating design to make 2-sided reversible placemats that can be used to create an interesting mix and match table. Either KRLGFabricPattern_13v4 (which is available here: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/4724583 ) or KRLGFabricPattern_12v7 look great with this. I used the latter. You can get it here: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/4724599 All three are stunning on the Eco Canvas, but you might want to try the Linen Cotton Canvas Ultra or Organic Cotton Sateen if you are planning to put anything super hot on them---the polyester could melt. You can even staple one of the mats to a wooden frame and hang it on your wall to tie your room decor and table linens together. I'd love to see a photo of what YOU do with this one!
