Collection.
Sometimes when I look at this design I think "Art Nouveau" and sometimes I think "Tribal." I have no expertise in regards to art history, so I pretty much just go with personal impressions. Feel free to correct me through comments below if you feel I am misrepresenting something! My favorite part of this particular version of my swirls of color is the way a row of diamonds appears, each surrounded by swirls of the colors in the design: turquoise, maroon and purple. Though this design began as a coordinate for the key design in colorway 4 of the Awakening Collection, it has evolved into a stand alone fabric. I primarily see it used as an upholstery fabric on something like patio furniture, or for tote bags. Here is a link to all the fabrics in colorway 4: http://www.spoonflower.com/collections/163747 = = = You may find additional colorway by scrolling through the collections in my shop. = = = There is a larger version of this print in the collection. If you still need it resized, please send me a message through the link in the left hand column. === Happy Sewing! === copyright Mary K Wykes 6-15-16
