These papercut designs are related to Hawaiian and Tahitian quilts, paper snowflakes, and Baltimore album quilts. My inspiration is often from a tiny detail of a William Morris fabric. This combination of 2 papercuts has an interesting wavy effect to the layout because of the slightly different sizes. All these small papercut designs come in a common set of colors. The aqua color will print like aqua - bluer than it looks here. The eggplant is not quite as dark as it looks here. See fabric image below.
