Such a pretty and magical design, Vo!

This is a lovely design, with a gorgeous color palette; and I think it should have been in the semi-finals. I spent many hours, over 3 days studying the designs as I made my voting decisions; and, although you are correct that there were fantastic designs in there, there were also many boring, blah, ho-hum, designs; as well as some downright ugly ones. This design is none of those things; and I'm disappointed not to see it in there where it belonged.

There are so many of us who have totally worthy designs that I really feel got lost in the kajillions of entries for whatever reason. There are some really fantastic designs in the 75 but outside of the 75 are some great ones as well. Let's all sell heaps and we'll go on vacation in one of my little sailboats!
This is a beautiful design Vo. You were robbed. Love it ~ hope you sell HEAPS of this and all the fabrics in your fantastic baby boy collection xxx
Oh Catru! Ya know, sometimes you hit the mark, sometimes you don't. I didn't this time...but thanks so much for looking for me! xo
... WHY WHY I didn't find you in the cut?!!! grrrrrr !!! :(
I love this whole collection, ... wanna see it printed! I'm sure will look terrific in person!!! :)
Whew! Ok, that makes me feel better: I'll cancel my ophthalmologist appointment. hahahah.
oops, I wasn't precise - I can't READ all the text, but even on my laptop I can see enough of it to see that there IS text, which is enough to make me click the 'zoom' button to see it all... and if I was technologically illiterate I would still be able to guess what it said based on the title of the piece ;o) I like it subtle.
Really? You can see all the text? I might need a bigger monitor or maybe I need to dust this one off more often!
I could see the text waves just fine without zooming. Very serene - and I love the stars on the water. Love your nursery-rhyme theme too.
I was really hoping for dreamy and soft for baby boys. I do think the text waves are too subtle to see unless you zoom. Thanks to all for the sweet comments!
Really gorgeous, so calming and serene, just whats needed for a baby boy. It really does say BABY boy to me, not just boy, which i think some entries may be more like! I agree with whats already been said - it's really magical and fairytale like, i also love the words as waves, fab!
The words as the waves of the sea are wonderful. The flow and movement of the boats, stars, and water is almost magical.
So sweet and serene - I love the mix/transition of stars and water. Just wonderful, Vo!
This design is pleasantly peaceful and perfect to create a tranquil atmosphere in the nursery realm! That is what mothers most need to calm their frazzled nerves after a day fraught with toddler mayhem. Mmmm, that is probably why I developed such an extensive repertoire of these little nursery rhyme ditties! It is a very versatile design that would be lovely made into a quilt, a cuddle blanket, some comfy cushions or cosy pyjamas.
so dreamy and gentle......perfect for any lucky little baby boy.
:D (still laughing here) you are sooo right, blankets should be for moms :D :D THEY need peace!!!!!
hahaha, my boy was calm and sweet and then he got progressively more boy-boisterous. There were days when I wanted to wrap myself up in a calming blanket cocoon during toddler-hood.
how calm and sweet! would make a great baby blanket!
Oh, you are SO right, vo. Forget Calgon taking me away....can I just lie in one of your lovely boats and float around until my son is out of Toddler-ville?! Pretty please? Beautiful and soothing, like a lullaby to wrap yourself in; great job, vo!!
Thanks everyone. hahaha, I figured soft and calm is what moms of boys need...before they turn into boisterous toddlers!
So sweet Vo, very easy to see a sleepy baby wrapped up in this soothing fabric!
So sweet and soft! this would make perfect pjs
So soothing! You have created a visual lullaby with this beautiful pattern. Good luck!
yeahhh, wonderful and lovely work!!!! I was waiting your work ! it's gives such a calm lovely feeling, love it :)
