Raising a toddler by a lake has been my inspiration for this piece. Much of his young life has been spent on a boat and he is fascinated by the boats, fish, birds, and the three lighthouses that our lake boasts. I took these images and simplified them to recognizable shapes for little ones. I mixed a bold blue and red into the color palette because studies have shown that by two months old, these colors are the most distinguishable. Oh, what a sweet print for both parent and child!
