Although native to Africa, the Rosy Faced (sometimes called Peach Faced) lovebird has successfully established a wild colony in Phoenix, Arizona, where they routinely nest in Saguaro cactus, and can often be seen feeding at backyard feeders. They are actually a small parrot...I wish I lived in Arizona! How about this sweet fact..the female weaves nesting material into her tail feathers and flys them to the sight! Thus..the idea of the ribbon " train". That just seemed the most adorable trait!
