This lovely, cool and fresh looking fabric looks terrific as a made up skirt
Thanks, Su! I think the holidays are going to get in the way of me getting the top and sash finished soon. And I have a Christmas skirt to make for myself and a baby dress to make as a gift. But I'm keen to get this outfit completed as soon as possible. : )
Looks great made up! It is wonderful to see a design from go to whoa - translated into a fabric print and then turning into clothing! Can't wait to see the rest of the outfit - thanks so much for sharing!
Here's me with my mom, who recently arrived in Melbourne for a visit. I'm wearing the skirt I made from Florida Holiday 2: #9. I have yet to make the coordinating top and sash. I made it out of the cotton poplin. Very happy with it!

Thank you, Su! Yes, I'm very pleased with the way it printed. Now all I have to do is find the time to make the outfit. I have the feeling I'll only have time for the skirt before Mom arrives.
This printed so crisp and clear - your outfit sounds stunning and I can't wait to see it!
I ordered 2 yards of this design on cotton poplin, and it came out beautifully. Lovely, smooth texture, colors true and satisfying. I'm going to make a gathered skirt out of it, and a top from a coordinate, with a sash out of still another coordinate. If I can get any or all of those pieces done by November 29th, 2012, I'll wear it/them to meet my mom at the airport! : )
