Ikat prints are all over runways and high end home designs, so I thought I'd make a cute ikat collection. Ikat is actually a weaving technique. I used gouache to hand paint the look of threads. Here is a paisley print. : ) I leave all of my hand painted designs at full scale; you can shrink them as you like.
Ps. If the colors look a bit bright, it's because I had to compensate for the printing process. Purples come out on the pinker side, and reds aren't as shocking as they are on screen.
