I think this is probably the one I would now have printed on any of the other fabric types that I plan to use. Although it doesn't have all the colours on it (by a long way!), it should at least give a hint as to which aspects of the colour range are going to be decidedly different on different fabrics. Eg dark brown on voile turned out not dark at all but rather greyish compared with the (old) quilting cotton rendition of it.

Yes, it's a considerable improvement on my first attempt at this sort of layout. I've mostly been working from a really big (whole yard, 30 sub-divisions) version but thought some of the same ideas could still work on a smaller scale - and I also worked out a fractal-style path for traversing it with which I was happy. There's an accompanying graphic for where/what the colours are (in hexadecimal code) which is still in progress. I'm still working on the backlog of stuff-to-do ...
