Closely based on the fabric of a 1780s jacket from the V&A, this is a striking black-on-white sprig floral great for jackets, gowns, and frocks 1780-1820.
This pattern is found on a woman's jacket of quilted printed cotton, English, 1780s, in the Victoria & Albert Museum (T.219-1966)
