These rabbit ears make a very interesting pattern. They would also be useful as applique accents in many different craft projects.

This one is the first idea I got: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/471179, and then I thought about the pattern: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/478014, but at the end I chose just the ears... because they could turn into a geometric pattern once repeated ;·)
Thank you all! I love getting comments!!!
As a matter of fact, the design actually was originally an ear headband to be stuffed and sewn... I'll upload the first pattern today so you can see it. As for the herringbone design Victoria, that's a great idea! Thanks! I'll try it and let you know!!!
I also find this design inspiring. Sewn back to back, and stuffed for a key ring; or not stuffed, on either end of a long ribbon for a bookmark. You could also do a different version of this design, with the ears closer together, for a herringbone effect.
very soft and fuzzy indeed :)
I can imagine these rabbit ears being appliqued onto fabric pictures of all manner of other beasties, people and objects to give them a silly bunny appearance! They could also be cut out and quilted, using a stiff batting, before being attached to a headband or mask ~ great for a fun Easter Bunny look!
