I completely redid this using GIMP and Paint.net. The dog is from my newest version of Clown Boy. Dots were added to the purple.

Maybe I should tone it down a bit! I have seen photos of a scrap quilt done this way. I want to try it with some other fabric designs, but this was my practice piece. I put together four squares with collage at Picnik, then used the straighten feature under rotate to skew the four patch about 15 degrees. I had to have the dog to the inside corner of the patch so it wouldn't be cut off. then I flipped the image both ways so they would line up when I did another four patch collage. (I always save as PNG from Picnik for a cleaner image).

That's an eye-popping repeat!
