Thank you ado annie. I will be proofing this soon and will post a picture.

This size would also be lovely for quilting. I imagine a beautiful border of this fabric paired with a smaller print of the same design. Red is my favorite color and this red is so cheerful and sophisticated. I hope you put this up for sale.
Thank you decobot.
Beautiful! Love the delicate details and line work, you put the colors to very good use!
Thank you, and wow; all your lovely comments have made me feel so much better about this design. I was afraid it was too stiff. I really struggled trying to get a nice repeat; you actually have to look at it in one of the wider fabrics to see where it finally repeats across the width. It's sort of a shame that different widths are no longer visible until a fabric is for sale. I tried all sorts of backgrounds so I'm glad you like the dots. Sorry I didn't give a better thank you to those of you who commented earlier, I'm still recovering from an exhausting return flight. As for the geraniums, it was that or hibiscus. I also considered Crown of Christ; the flowers are the right color but the stems are a big part of that, and they are more grayish.
I really like the teeny dots you're using for shading in the petals -- reminds me of mezzotint!
Your geranium is beautiful, Victoria. The style is just right for the botanical theme. The colours don't appear at all restricted - the small dots give the design a retro feel and nicely break up the background. Great work!
i totally agree with mona...i didn't think of it myself but now i've seen your geranium i suddenly thought of course thats exactly the colour of geraniums and the style is perfect! love the drawing and the fantastic repeat.....you are always so wonderful with repeats!! very retro, very fab!!!
Wow - this is so pretty! And what a great drawing. I think this may have been exactly what they were imagining when they cooked up this contest! :)
Beautiful geraniums design Victoria, and good use of color, too, great color choice for the background dots!
Thank you all so much. I managed to keep these geraniums alive for about 5 years, me with my black thumb! They did look so cheery in the window, when they would bloom in the middle of the winter. They were in bloom one year at Christmas. I'm going to have to think about that apron design; you know me and aprons.
I'm with Rachel, you totally hit the retro ball out of the park every time, Victoria. I can really picture June Cleaver in pearls and an apron of this pattern.
love the retro feel to this, and the use of color.
One of my fave flowers (they're always so cheery in a window box!). And love the dots too!
Your geraniums are fabulous, and I agree, love the dots!
LOVE the dots ~ the colours really zing on this! lovely xxx
This is a spectacular design, Victoria! The geranium is perfect for the colours in the limited palette.
