these crafty cats are trying to catch butterflies, they are hiding in the flowers and then when they think they haven't been seen, they pounce!!

grrr, almost top ten. it should have been there!!
Wow - this is very pretty and polished. Well done Jo!!
Beautiful work, Joanne, as always, and a very Merry Christmas to you, too!
thanks so much for your comments everyone, cean - playful but soft was what i was going for so thanks for that!, sharon - hahaa.....thanks for calling my gallery ecletic, such a nice word for the random jumble of madness that is really is!! vo - so pleased you like it, your input is always appreciated! mona - cheers hon, i love cute little kittens also, yay! samarra - thanks for the great comment, much appreciated coming from you! rae - thanks hon, glad you approve!, lucinda - thankyou, glad you like it! rhonda - hahaaa i'm chuffed you think i could draw cats so well just by watching them, but what i did was take lots of photos of my friend sarahs cats (she has 5 and 2 kittens!!) printed them, then drew a grid over the photo and copied the picture bit by bit onto graph paper so get all the proportions right then scan it in. i used to do that a lot at art school...very old school and time consuming but i'm not very tech! the cat looking at the butterfly was actually looking at a treat in my son's hand, and the pouncing cat was actually leaping out of my son's arms trying to get away from him hahaaaa!! anyway blah blah.... MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! and good luck to all who enters...(i'm a bit xmas eve tipsy hence the ramble!!)
It's absolutely beautiful!
wow, jo, this is absolutely fantastic. great colors and contrasts.
Every element of your design works well together to create this wonderful fabric design, Jo! You have obviously closely observed kittens in action to be able to draw the stalking, pouncing predator-at-play characteristics so well!
Very lovely and sophisticated, Jo. Great balance, repeat and layering. Your work paid off!
Love it! Absolutely beautiful! I especially love the little black kitten... because I love kittens. :)
So playful Jo! I'm loving this and yes, your hard work shows!
this will do really well hon ~ very usable... charming and lovely ~ haha ~ your gallery is so eclectic my dear!! Great job, best of luck and.... HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!! xxx
Whoa, Jo! This is so lovely, I love the bold leaping and lurking cats in contrast to your delicate florals and your colors are so soothing, yet playful. How'd you do that? You have good reason to be pleased with this stunner!
