This design was based on a classic 1970s paisley fabric. I deconstructed the design from a photo of this fabric and replaced every tear-shaped dotted paisley with a mostly-tear-shaped dotted octopus. This particular colourway is called 'Deep Lights' and I made several other colorways with this OctoPaisley design.
