This printed out beautifully on the cotton knit. Wonderful design in gorgeous muted colours.

I think I would enjoy maths if my brain understood it better however whenever I try to comprehend numbers it feels as though my brain crashes. As long as I can see patterns though I will be content.

Hi tallulah11, I wrote the computer program to make these. The mathematics is geometry, rotations and shifts, it required a bit of trigonometry to implement. It sounds like you might enjoy mathematics, it is all about patterns of various kinds, as far as I can tell.
do you need to have a good understanding of mathematics for creating these designs? I am forever fascinated by infinity in patterns, I find your work utterly mesmerising. The abilty for anything to be simultaneously complex and simple is both perplexing and somehow obvious.
Thank you, mermaidgirl!
I love spirals...
working on some new ones, should have them ready to upload soon
Wow, these are soooo beautiful and inspiring! Spirals are such a great design theme, I love them because they mean growth and change....and what beauty!
Hi, so far I have just seen quilting weight cotton printing for these ones, I was very pleased with the prints. I guess a test swatch first would be wise. Thanks for appreciating my designs!!!

I'm gobsmacked. They are amazing, gorgeous and unique. Have you any idea how they print in the silk crepe de chine?
I wrote a computer program to make them. Its like a tree branching, each point has two points that branch from it, at shorter and shorter intervals, when the twigs are tiny the program draws a coloured dot or in other words sets the corresponding pixel to a certain colour.
I set the program off to make a whole lot of patterns, I take the ones I like and get the program to make new ones based on recombinations, like breeding roses.
I'm glad you like them!
These are just gorgeous - how in the world do you create them?
Thanks, thanks, spirals are my favourite shape.
I like the spirals; and the beautiful lavenders, blues, and turquoises.
