Beautiful! I love this!

Woohoo! So happy to see this awesome unique creation make the top ten! :D
Congratulations! I love this stocking , and knew it would finish in the top ten. I'm tempted to make this up for myself.
Congratulations on top ten, Cean! You will have to watch those elves don't get too excited when they celebrate!
Wow! I've been out a bit this week and come back to all of these amazing comments and a top ten spot! It's a Thanksgiving miracle! Thank you all so much and thanks for the support on my shoddy sewing skills, too!
Way to go Cean! Top 5!
Just fabulous! Congratulations on top 5! Hope there'll be lots of these elf-made tree stockings hanging on mantles across the globe this christmas!
This is such a clever kit, congrats on 5th place!
congrats on 5th cean, one of my faves, a proper magical, festive delight, really conjures up the christmas spirit! looks amazing all sewn up!
Congratulations on top 10!
Great project images. Fantastic stocking.
Just realized I didn't comment here on how fantastic this turned out. I just love it!
your sewing looks good to me! Besides even if it wasn't good (I dispute that) the design is sooooo nice it doesn't matter!
Great idea! Nice to see it sewn in fabric!
I love this so much more with it all sewn up! =D
It looks awesome all sewn up Cean!!! :D
oh, I do love it sewn up! it looks even MORE whimsical and elvish! great job.
Sewn by squirrels or not, your tree stocking is an amazingly imaginative creation! Forget the usual function of Christmas stockings. This one needs to be set up on the first day of Advent as the centrepiece of your Christmas decorating. It's role is to be a form of modern cargo cultism. A few token gift-wrapped items should give the right idea to any Santa helper who chances by! The curious zebra, with his fancy saddle, adds an interesting touch of whimsy to the scene. I guess he just trotted by on his way to, or from, Santa,s stable for soft toys?
It looks great, Cean, so much fun!
FAB-ulous! It's so danged festive!
oh my gosh, this is even more amazing all sewn up! Love the festive saddle on your zebra too!!
And I just noticed my horrid grammar on my last comment. I meant, "sewn by squirrels", not "sewed". My mother would be horrified!
And here's the other side! The leaves are backed with fringe for a bit more oompf.

Elf Made Stocking Kit :
Well, the test is done and it's official, I'm a sloppy seamstress! Here's the first side.....
Thanks Jo and Rhonda! The prototype is almost complete, though it looks like it was sewed by squirrels, it's so sloppy. Rhonda, I'll send them your way pronto, and you are in luck. Elves have notoriously low safety standards. Those Keebler elves cook cookies in a fire pit in a tree in the middle of the woods ( do you all have Keebler elves in the UK?)!
Cean, your creative flair has no bounds! The magic tree stocking and all it's dangly accoutrements is fantastic. When they finish elf-helping you, do you think you could give your elf friends the hint that their assistance would be appreciated over my way? Of course, all current elf and safety standards will be met on site.
fantastic...love this...love the elves, love their tree home, love the toadstool pompom, love the dangly ornaments to sew on...yep love just about everything here, amazingly brilliant design!
It makes my day to read all of the sweet comments you've all left me! I've started sewing this guy up, but I'm a lot slower (and sloppier) than I imagined, so it's not going to make it up in time for the contest opening. Victoria, I'm going to back the tree tops with felt and sew the edges to stiffen them up and get them strong enough for the gobs of ornaments. I'm glad you all like the mushroom cap, I sat there thinking for a while of what type of pompom to put on the toe. The other options weren't very cute like one of those random tree tumors or a disembodied elf head (yikes, glad I came to my senses in time on that one. It would have been Lord of the Flies, Christmas version). Thanks everybody, and I can't wait to see the entries for this one!
Great design! "Christmas oppulence" is the perfect description for this fun kit!
Oh, wow! There's no mistaking your quirky, original style here with all the unorthodox ornamentation onboard. Pinecones, pears and pickles - perfect!
I love the little mushroom at the end of the boot is too cute
Those elves are working so hard, I hope they get a break after Christmas! Love all the detail -- the big sheep and the fox that scored a candy cane are my favs. Love it, Cean!
Wow! Just love this, Cean! Totally whimsical and perfect!
so cute! I love this!
You'll probably want to overcast the edges of the tree limb toppers; or use something to keep the fabric from fraying.
This is wonderful, whimsical, and very original! love this.
Awesome job - great artwork and such a cute idea, again!! Good luck! :)
it's gorgeous!!! i love the way you illustrate... very nice!!!
just plain awesome!! your creativity is something to admire as well.
oh my goodness - this is so wonderful! A stocking made of wood - who'd a thunk it? But it works so well. the mushroom cap is the crowning touch. And I love the ornaments... I keep wanting to say "especially this one or especially that one" but they are all so wonderful! whimsical and well done!
I *heart* that leafy ruffle! I love that your designed it so the ornaments hang from the stocking - it might just upstage many a tree!
This is awesome! I love the faces of the elves. I'm especially fond of that pickle ornament too. I'm not sure why, but I can completely imagine this entire stocking, ornaments and all, as a larger than life float in a holiday parade. The details are superb!
Your stocking is so imaginative, I especially love the mushroom cap toe and the little seal ornament. I can't wait to see one sewn up.
Nuts! Either everyone is going to get nut-sized gifts or I'll have to hope the elves are fooled when I put a sign on every unwrapped gift that says "walnut".
Thanks everybody! I'm waiting for my fabric to come in so I can make a prototype and make sure it works out like I hope it will. Vo, they do wrap presents as long as they are the size of a walnut.
Love the ornaments that hang of the top!
This is so cute! I love it and can't wait for it to go up for sale. I really want to quilt in all those lines in the bark. Very nice and original.
It's an extravaganza!!!!! Hmmmm, will those elf workers wrap all my gifts if I put them up on the mantle? That would be a huge extra bonus!!!
Those elves have been so busy! I am favoring the owls, pine cones and seals. I just love the detail of all your illustrations!
Wow! just - Wow!
wonderful Cean as always!
This is an adorable idea! Very nicely done.
