In Cree Legend, Moon Rabbits dream of playing on the moon. Only the crane and no other bird would agree to fly the rabbits to the moon, which is why the crane's legs to this day are stretched long (from the weight of Moon Rabbits hanging on). When the crane dropped off a rabbit on the moon, the rabbit patted his bloodied paw on the crane's head by way of thanks, hence the red spot of red "blood" on the crane's head even today. This cut and sew bunny can be sewn as one bunny with a face on each side (front and back)- or side two, (the bunny back) can be cut from fabric of your choice in order to have this pattern yield two bunnies. Check out the 2 coordinates available in the "Moon Rabbit" collection! I use Performance Pique to make these beanbags because the stretch gives a comedic feel to the beanbag which adds to the experience.
