Fabric design is definitely not my strong point as an artist, but I keep on trying! I am so inspired by all the other talented people on here. My main interest, in my own work, is in adult-leaning but child inspired designs. I aim to be silly.

I agree with Victoria, there was one particular design of monster I saw... that made me so sad compared to this one!!!!! :(((
(again, is not against that design, but "compared" to this one....)
This is a particular fun fabric for baby boys :)
Sooooo absolutely their loss. Its an awesomely fun fabric :) xxx
Thanks, Victoria! Much appreciated as always! :) When I made this originally, I REALLY wanted to use it to make crib bedding - should I ever have another child - so I thought it might be perfect for this contest. But whatever... I still love it! Their loss! ;)
After spending many hours, over 3 days, studying all the Project Selvage designs, I have to say that these "Baybeez" should have been in the semi-finals. This is a creative, fun design, really adorable, with an excellent repeat; and a great color. All I can say is, Bah humbug! I also wondered if your design was the inspiration for the other designers that did monster fabrics; because I don't think it's something you would normally think of for baby fabric; and this design was one of the earliest, if not the first, designs entered.
Hahahaha, very cute, Mona! Love the manic looks on their faces!
super funny and funky! it would work with soooo many other colors as well.
Thanks, Cean! And close - that is Foo. :)
Which one is the guy with the round orange eyes and Nosferatu teeth, because that is my favorite (hope it's
Pook)! Looks super printed up, too!
Thanks, Victoria! It was actually my dream - when I made this originally - that if I should have another child I would use it for their nursery. :)
Oh gosh, I thought I had already posted how much I like this truly original baby design. It looks so good printed up.
Thank you both! I did actually enter this one in the baby boy contest - though I did it a LONG time ago! :) And it was actually inspired by my little stinker baby daughter - when she was a baby (she's 7 now).
Your fabric looks great in the blue colourway, Mona. This design is such a wonderfully quirky reality check for new parents! Whenever I look at this pattern I am reminded of some of the adorable/naughty infants that I have known!
is it for the baby boy contest? I love the idea of something no soft and cream (so different of how it is normaly for baby!)
very cool and cute!
Thanks, everyone! :) This is one of the first designs I ever did on Spoonflower - and I didn't change it for this contest. Just figured I would give it a shot as is! :)
Yay Mona, your monsters are so adorable!
yeahhhhh, go for it Mona!!!!!!! I already told you I loveee your monster's eyes!! :) :)
it's so funny like every design you made I love it
totally coooool Mona!! xxx
