Thank you Patty and Rhonda. I'm really enjoying this kit concept and keep thinking of new ones.

Yay! So glad to see your yummy apron kit highlighted on the blog! I just love project-based fabric designs and this one's so terrific!
So pleased to see your fancy apron kit featured on the blog, Victoria. You have put a lot of thought and design time into making the kit work effectively.
Thank you Vo, uzumakijo, and kdl.
yay victoria! fantastic you had your apron pattern highlighted on the blog....so glad it got a well deserved mention, it really is a super kit, and i love all the additional kits that have come from it too! great stuff!
Congratulations, Victoria, this pattern is soooo cute! You and the other kit designers certainly inspire me.
Yay Victoria! Whatta fab thing to be highlighted in the blog. Great projects!
Thank you Cean and Weavingmajor. I'm working on a Gingerbread version right now. Sort of Christmassy without having anything specifically Christmas on it. I have a couple other sets in the wings.
I knew this would have it's day in the sun sometime, it's too well thought out and designed not to! Congrats on your blog mention and keep these awesome ideas and cute clothes rolling out!
you know, I think that if I'd had cute "useful" stuff like this for my dolls when I was little, instead of just fussy dress-up clothes, I might have actually played with them! And I'm so amazed and impressed with your huge assortment of sizes and coordinates for dolls AND children AND moms! Definitely a kit (or kits) worth bringing to everyone's attention - I'm glad Spoonflower blogged it!
Thank you Scrummy and Francine. All of the coordinating accessory kits and fabrics are now for sale.
YAY! congrats on making the top ten of Spoonflower best fabric kit designs! This was an ingenious design you had and I'm glad to see you getting props for it! :D
So happy that you're happy! Thank you.
Victoria - got the fabric tonight. So pretty and perfect for a little girl! I can't wait to get this ready for Sammy's birthday. She will love it and be tickled to have a matching set w/her AG.
I've enlarged the front panel and "Sharpened" it in PS. I printed a test "swatch" on paper and it looks good. Working on the rest of the design. I don't think I can get an adult apron and all the accessories on one yard. I've got a couple other versions in mind so keep a lookout. And I'm still working on a calendar design for the contest.
No V, the whole idea is an exact match on all three, cuz a little girl is going to compare point for point - just make sure it's not pixelated when you enlarge it. Maybe next year you can make one for Thanksgiving too!
Christmas? Yep, just tweak the colors to the Christmas side of the force and I want one of those too, for the same little girl. And her mommy. Love it!
That's a good idea Scrummy. I was going to put a gingerbread man on it; but didn't want to have people limit it by thinking "Christmas" when they looked at it. But one that was specifically Christmas would be good. I'm going to be busy.
Thank you Paragon studios one. Dhawktx, I'm hoping Sammy really does squeal with delight. I'm anxiously awaiting your report. I've been thinking about an adult version; debating simply enlarging the child's, or creating a slightly different, perhaps more mature, coordinating, design. What do you all think?
Very smart idea having a set for daughter and dolly made for a yard. This will be a delight to any little girls play accessories
I'm sure Sammy (Samantha) will give a squeal that will break eardrums! She loves her American Girl doll and that they will have a matched set is just awesome!
Of course, now you gotta come up with a 2nd yard that's a Mamma apron set!
Oh dear! I've fallen so behind in my thank you' s; that's what happens when you strain your neck muscles working on the computer. Thank you, Francine, Inscribed here, Decobot, Kiwiandsteve, Connielou, and Mytinystar. I'm hoping for some pictures of the real thing soon. And I'm really hoping the little girl who is getting this set for her birthday will be delighted!
Oh brilliant! I didn't realize at first blush that this was a two-for! Ha - I was just suggesting this very thing to Sharon and you've already executed it :) This is so yummy that it makes me wish I could go back in time and pull out my Easy Bake oven and get busy baking with a little mini me assistant chef (who would let ME eat all the cake). Well done Victoria!
Brilliant, Victoria. You've included some very tasty looking treats on this gorgeous set. They should be perfect inspiration for a lucky little girl to do some baking with her dolly.
Very sweet little set Victoria!
Great idea and I can tell lots of thought went into your design. Very pretty too.
I love it! Any little girl would squeal with delight to get this matching set! Perfect Christmas gift!
Thank you Cean and uzumakijo. I'm thinking about making some more "dolly and me" kits like this; I have a couple of ideas for other outfits.
yeah, i totally agree, wonderful design victoria..great idea for matching childs and dolly's set, and so cute and adorable...brilliant!

The paper printout pinned over the prototype. The ties on the actual apron are the same green as the mixing bowl pocket.
Hastily basted together prototype doll apron and oven mitt. made from an old sheet.
So clever! You have a marketing genius trapped inside your artist's brain, Victoria. The fat quarter Vs. yard idea is brilliant, and so is putting an apron up against all of those dresses. I think there are a lot of fake plastic oven users out there with nothing to protect their hands from the fake heat that those things pump out! Problem solved!
Thank you all so much for your delicious comments. I'm going to have to wait a bit to make it as I've had some unexpected expenses. Unless I win!
An adorable design that fits the criteria of the competition as well as offering more to potential purchasers. Little girls love :- 1) Pink; 2) Cakes; 3) Dressing up; 4) Dressing Dolly 5) Cakes again and cooking them. You have all the right ingredients, Victoria!!
so cute! I love it that it's an apron and mitts rather than just more dress-up clothes. Very fun. And I love it that the inside of the mixing bowl pocket has batter and a spoon...
<p>and great job with the use of the FQ and the yard, that someone can buy just the dolly dress or have it together with the little-girl dress in the yard. Well done!
Mmm...cake and pie, yum and delicious! Great design, Victoria!
Yummy indeed! This is so darling, I love the mixing bowl pocket and all the little accessories. I hope you plan to sew these up! :)
Done! Special thanks to oldest son John, for driving his brothers back to college after Fall break; so I could finish this.
