Wow, I finally figured out how to comment on a design...technology is making me feel old! Thanks for the comments guys. I am a fan of William Morris and the Arts & Crafts movement and am honored that one of my designs evoked his name!

The colours and style of this design make me think of the dark-hued taffetas used during the Victorian era. You can almost hear the swish and rustle of the crinoline skirts! It would look fabulous printed on silk.
You're thinking of William Morris victoria, and I totally see that too!
Marvelous how it has become a repeating fan design of gentle hues (way beyond humble cabbage leaves!) It has a brocaded look, very nice.
Wow! I love purple and green. This makes me think of a vintage wallpaper. I'm thinking of a specific, famous, designer and drawing a complete blank on the name. Aargh, sorry.
