Glad to see these suckers in the top ten! I would love to see this printed on silk.
ditto what thay all said lol ~ fabulous xxx
Congrats on top 10!
Thanks everyone! I'm excited to be 7. It's is my favorite number and I got it by the skin of my fangs, looks like. There are a lot of you I thought should be up here instead of me, so I'm just counting myself lucky to have made it.
congrats on 7th cean, another truly amazing and beautiful design, i really love this one!
Yay, 7th place, great entry!
Great job; Congrats!
Yay! Congrats Cean!
Congratulations fro being on the top 10. :)
I was all prepared to lose to you, but all the top ten were awesome. Congrats on being one of them!
The lady is a vamp!! I mean champ!! Way to go Cean! :)
YAY top ten!!! Congratulations, Cean!!!
Awesome...a big congrats Cean!!
Very haunting and beautiful at the same time! Awesome as usual, Cean!
Francine, you are too nice. Unfortunately, whenever a paycheck comes into the picture, the right side of my brain freezes and I lose all creative abilities. It's a major achilles heel for a wannabe kids book author.
I agree judith - she's wicked good! She needs a prodding pushy agent to ply her with checks, projects and deadlines, and I swears, we'd all be reading ceanirminger bedtimes stories to our littleun's.
Thanks everybody for being so nice with your comments and your votes 9blueberryblonde and bard_judith)! I promise Judith, I have a huge pile of stinker designs for every one that is sharable. And Maurice Sendak!!! If I was drinking coffee I would have spit it all over the screen in surprise and honor of being thought of in context with him, so a triple thank you for that one!
i voted for you in the vampire fabric contest, good luck!
Voted for this, a stand-out among other fantastic vampire fabrics. How do you produce consistently stunning, graphically powerful, temptingly shaded and sensuously lined images EVERY time? Your sense of design is inspiring and challenging, making these 'illustrations' as much as any famous children's book author. Got a story in mind? You could be the next Maurice Sendak.....
I love, love it!!! And what a fantastic moon-coffin repeat! Great stuff!
awesome and creepy! love the illustrations as always.
Wonderfully creepy and cool, and I love all your beautifully illustrated gothic details.
Well done, Cean! I especially love the shading tones and the depth. Another stunner!
Thanks for your sweet comments, everybody! I'm glad you all don't think these guys suck (though they will if you're not careful). I have a feeling this contest is going to be a fun one, from what I've seen so far.
Such a great design. I'm in awe
Where's the stake and garlic?!? These slumbering suckers should be secluded, stay undisturbed and strictly absent from soirees and social outings! Cean, you have created a stylish masterpiece shrouded with mystery.
"A bunch of suckers" hahaha. Fantastic design, great characters. Love the upside down bats.
certainly is very gothically beautiful and sinister...i was also expecting something special off you for this one...and you've definitely delivered! absoultely love it cean..gorgeously scary!!
Love your illustrative style! This pattern is very cool.
Absolutely fabulous! I just knew you'd have a great one for this contest!
Oooo perfectly creepy and beautiful!
What an amazing fabric!! Would also be a fantastic cover for a gothic horror book. :)
awwww how do you do it ~ most spooky and fabulous xxx
I love it! it couldnt be better.
Thanks, Patty! I went for the gothic horror side of things. I'm glad you realized they were tendrils. After I drew them I was afraid it looked like all of the vamps had burst into flames! Not a good thing to wake up too.
Ye gawds! I'm going into the kitchen to get garlic before they wake up!
wow, this is truly ghastly in the best possible way! I like the way you've enveloped them in ghostly tendrils... spooky!
