Lovely and cute.
I like the background, so simple yet to fitting. It adds that special touch.

Looks adorable, can hardly wait to see what you make with it.

Thanks all!! I was happy with the swatch, but there's nothing like getting actual yardage in! It's still sorta' magical to me each and every time I get an order of fabric in with my design printed on it, I don't think it will ever get old. :)
Your illustrations are sooo cute, and the fabric looks great!
Looks fabulous :)
The printed yardage is gorgeous!
Just got my yardage in!

Thanks Rhonda! I'm so ready for fall to arrive!
Another lovely nursery design. The neutral colours you have used hint of a cool nip in the air. The curled up fox wearing his scarf and the chipmunk's interest in the acorn add to this impression. The background trees give depth to the design.
phew! haha, no offense taken, I find your comments quite entertaining! I was actually referring to myself with the perspective please! I tend to put way to much emphasis and energy into small things (like which design to enter) If you ever find a cure for Foot in Mouth let me know, I could use it myself!
So you chose this one?! I want to say it's my favored, but I'm afraid! I love it. I do.
Sorry for the inappropriate (metaphor? simile?) Foot in Mouth is a chronic disease I suffer from.
Thanks Victoria, he definitely needed something to nibble on! Francine, yes, I had a hard time deciding, I felt like this design was more finished looking, but couldn't shake the irrational feeling I was betraying Puddy by not entering him, ha ha! (yeah, waaay too attached to my pets). That is until I looked up Sophie's Choice, whoa, a little perspective please!
Oh, and I do lik those trees; very nice.
I'm glad he got his acorn back, he looks much more content.
Oh-my-gosh, I'm so glad you left that comment, Francine!! You know how you sort of check off in your head that something's done when it's not?I forgot to actually enter one! argh...
See!?! Color genius! I think this is just sooo sweet! Which one are you entering? You must be having a Sophie's Choice kind of torture choosing!!
just the loveliest nursery fabric ~ so calm and fun (in a classy classy way!) beautifully done, clever you xxx
love this, but i'm both partial to the squirrels and foxes! really sweet though.
You guys are the greatest, thanks so much for your awesome comments! My fox actually started out as an idea sketch for a corduroy plushie that I quickly realized was way beyond my limited sewing abilities, I think he's much happier here! I'm glad you all like the trees in the background, I debated over whether or not to add them, once again, the perils of finishing a design early is you have that much more time to tweak!
I am so in love with your fox. The background is fab and all the way around this is so danged cute.
very cute! Like how the fox has a scarf.
i thought this was supercute anyway, but i must say i love the added trees in the background, and i'm so pleased little chipmunk got his acorn...cute without...doubly mega cute with...aw!
This is uber great! I love that fashionable fox! and I'm with Decobot, that layer of trees adds so much interest! super duper cute!
So cute! Great soft colors. I like the layer of trees in the back too. Glad to hear the chipmunk got his acorn treat!
All your ideas about what the chipmunk is doing are for more interesting than the acorn I have just revised him to be holding! I love the idea of him knitting a teeny weeny sweater, and the idea that his lunch has just disappeared before his eyes! My husband thought he looked like he was sneezing and I half wanted to draw him blowing into a monogrammed handkerchief! But in the end my conservatism won out.
I like to think the chipmunk is knitting a teeny weeny sweater that we can't see. Super CUTE!!!!
And here I thought that confused look on his face was because his acorn had disappeared.
i really really love this one, i agree with victoria..you've totally mastered the illustrator, gorgeous! (with or without the acorn!!)
Thanks Kelly,... Kelly and Victoria! I like the colors, too, thought I'd veer away from my blue preference, atleast on this one. I just noticed that I forgot to put in the acorn that the 'lil chipmunk is supposed to be cracking open, ha ha! I guess that's one of the benefits of finishing a bit early, extra time to fix stuff.
Ooh, very nice. Looks like you've already mastered Illustrator.
Very cute, and I love all the different types of mushrooms.
well done! and very cute. I love the outdoorsy colors
