Beautiful! I love how you used the brushstrokes to for the elements in your design! That is a lovely photo too, we were up near Byron Bay a few weeks ago.

Thank you so much Tina, Amy and Katie for your comments. You are right, it is the most magical place to live….which is probably what every one thinks about their own patch! But that is the way it should be hey, you should be blown away by your surroundings - makes you feel alive! Re the cockatoo, I did a few versions and while others were more 'technically' correct, this guy had all the personality so he was the stand out winner.
Wow, what an exotic place to live! Your illustrations are gorgeous as always!
Esther, this is such a beautiful design and yes, you are one lucky girl! What a lovely and magical place to live. You have captured it beautifully here. totally got my vote!
I am in love with your cockatoo! So cute, love the design.
Thanks Stephanie for your kind comments. Hi Boo, yes it's a lovely part of the world isn't . I can't imagine being anywhere else. You are in a beautiful spot too, but too damn hot for me! Thanks for taking the time to comment. Much appreciated. I LOVE you goose design, it is quite striking.
Ahhh, Esther, you're making me swoon - I used to live close to Mt Wollumbin in a rainforest many years ago... I love the whimsical elements of your design. The line work is lovely.
This is so beautiful! Love it!
A view of the mountains I live in, taken from beautiful Byron Bay. The highest peak was named Mt Warning by Captain Cook as he was navigating the Australian coastline although the correct Indigenous name is Mt Wollumbin, meaning 'rain maker'.
