after making various sized globes from my first fabric, I decided my favorite sizes were the nine-inch (23 cm) and the juggler (3" or 7.5 cm). A fat quarter makes one nine-inch and one juggler, a yard makes four of each; a yard of the wider fabrics have an extra of each.
