Could you make this fabric fit in a 10 to 12 inches? Also could you color a few birds cranberry to wine colors?

Thank you monmeehan and leah!!! I had a lot of fun with this one and I can't wait to make something of it!
I love it!
congratulations - I loved this pattern, and voted for it!
Wow, thank you all so much for the warm reception -- it's like getting a big spoonflower hug! I'm just about to order a sight variation of this design in Cotton Lawn, so I'll keep you updated on how it turns out!
Brilliant! Love the layout and colors
Congratulations on 3rd place!
Congratulations on #3. This is a lovely design, perfect for a sundress or summer skirt; but also for lovely airy curtains. I can just see them drifting in the summer breeze.
I really like all of your designs!
Congrats on third! I see some beautiful partnerships between you and illustrator in the future!
Congratulations! Really charming design.
Oh yeahhhhh! Congratulations!
yay, congrats on 3rd, super fantastic job!
3rd place, awesome work!
Thank you, Victoria, inscribed_here, and rhondadesigns! -- I'm so glad you see so many uses for it! And those little red birdies...they just never could fit in, but I hope they know they're just as special:)
Lovely design. Economical use of line for maximum visual impact. I wonder if those little red birds think they are hiding? They are very cute, especially the ones at the edge of the wider width design.
Very soft and pretty and so versatile. I love that little birdy surprise... what a surprise! It's great to see a border fabric designed for the wider widths.
This is so clean and sweet. Petit enough for children and babies, and gender neutral for decorating; but strong enough for an a woman's skirt or sundress. Lovely.
Wow, thank you so much for your support Samarra, surlybird, Cean, and blueberryblonde (all you guys are amazing to me so I blush when I read all these comments!) and thank you for the encouragement in illustrator! I should strike up that deal with my husband for Christmas, uzumakijo! I totally take the long road and sketch out my idea, scan it into photoshop, and then re-draw everything over in vectors so I get those cleaner lines (it's the profectionist arch.drafter in me:). Maybe I'll be more proficient as I search out more tutorials... I'm up for pointers from you greats too!:)
voted for you in the border fabric contest, good luck!
hiya - i'm using photoshop, it's an old version but totally fine for me, i really want to learn illustrator mainly for the ability to resize easily without pixelating the picture. i have inkscape on my computer (a free program thats similar to illustrator) and my husband says if i try it and like it he'll buy me illustrator for xmas....haven't tried it yet though!!! i have to say though i thought your designs were done on illustrator they look so clean and gorgeous like the sweet tweet and fox and lamb ones! - btw have you thought of entering the sweet tweet in the kawaii contest, it's one of my favourite designs and so ridiculously cute!
I love this clean feel, those reed like lines and that saucy red bird! I agree with decobot, it is a very nice birdy surprise in this instance. Great job and it looks like you are a veritable prodigy in illustrator!
Very sweet, Drea! I love me some Illustrator; you've done a fine job for a first try!
Thank you so much ladies - I'm so glad you see it as usable! Decobot, have I got a story about a birdy surprise... though I'm hoping not to correlate this design to that kind of birdy surprise so maybe I'll save it for another time! What program do you use, uzumakijo? I'm trying this trial illustrator version while waiting for my new photoshop to arrive...I see pluses to both programs, but will probably have to stick to photoshop for now!
this is lovely drea, and a great first go at illustrator - looks like you're a pro! i keep meaning to get round to trying it but i keep putting it off haha! beautiful, calm and clean design with a huge scope for uses!
Oh this is so sweet. I love bird fabrics and this is outstanding.
This is so clean and well designed. I can imagine it used in all kinds of projects. If only all birdy surprises could be so pleasant ;).
