Hi there, i just finished an adorable peasant dress for a toddler size. Would you like to see a foto? It will be for sale at an event to raise awareness and money for the loggerhead turtle on March 16 , 2013 on Edisto Island S.C. The print is so appropriate..especially the turtle. Will you be designing any other fabric with that particular turtle? It is perfect for being a loggerhead!! thanks for your design~~jamie

The uncoloured, leaping sea creatures in combination with the calm blues of the well ordered waves makes this design appear in turns exciting and serene. Very clever.

Glad to finally see this in a contest.
Always loved this!
LOVE! This would be wonderful made into curtains or sheets for an ocean themed child's room.
Your superb hand drawings show so well in your masterly fabric designs, Cean!
Thanks Kelly, circle and sticks, greenmyeyes and Jo! This contest is jam packed with brilliant designs, so I'm not sure if this old coot is up to the challenge, but I'm glad I got to use it for something.
Oh yay!!..I'm also stoked to see this fab design entered in a contest, one of my faves for ages, So fun, So beautifully drawn, So utterly wonderful! sure to do very well!!
Wonderful, and the colors are perfect!
Great design and illustration. I love all the creative characters. The color is just right. Lovely pattern!
oh goody! hooray for a contest to showcase this lovely design!
Thank you everyone! I've had this guy floating around forever and was happy a contest came up where I could use it and not have to come up with a new fabric! I'm glad you like it!
This is so cute and so inventive!
Awesome design !!
This is well done. Everything is well spaced.

I love it! and I have to agree with Decobot, the starfish is so cute waving hello at us. I love too, how you did leave them just plain white and black, even if you claim for it to have been laziness it still is cute! it is beautiful!

Thanks so much, Kiwiandsteve! I don't know about being a great designer, though. This one was just lucky laziness(see comments below).
Beautiful! I love the black and white sea creatures next to the blue shades in the waves. Just the right amount of contrast. You are such a great designer - thanks for sharing.
Thanks Lulakiti! I had this one on the back burner for a while and finally took the time to get it finished and in!
Aw! This is great! I never saw this one before!
Ha ha, sometimes procrastination and laziness pays off!
Thank you decobot, patty, and uzumakijo! I was happy to dust this one off, get it done and up. They all looked so sad waving at me unfinished on the desktop. The uncolored element idea is half inspiration, half procrastination with a smidge of laziness. I tried coloring them all in, but it just kept looking garish and tacky, so I let them be, Choosing colors has never been my strong suit.
yeah, i agree i really love how you leave some of the design elements uncoloured in some of your designs, it really does make them stand out and look really special and beautiful! gorgeous design, one of my favourites (...er although i think i say that to all your designs...this one though i especially love!!)
This is gorgeous! I like that you left the animals uncolored against the waves, really adds to the dreamlike quality.
Love it Cean! I can almost see the creatures moving up and down with the water. So cute how even the tiny star fish is waving hello :).
Great idea, Victoria! I'll put it on my "things to learn how to do and then do" list. It's an immense list.
Oooh, I love this, it would make a fantastic beach cover-up.
Yup, on the run from the 5-0 with only my wits and my husband's laptop.. Actually, just really procrastinating on the carousel theme and trying to be constructive with my down time. These guys were originally for a client who never got back in touch, so I figured it's time I put them on the open market. Poor Nessie was just a last minute idea because I wasn't sure I could use these guys.
Awesome! I still love Nessie too. How did you manage to find a wad of free time to do these updates? Are you on the lam again? Shoulda known.
