Beautiful movement in this piece! The colors are so rich and vibrant and the illustrations are wonderful!
Thank you Celia and Victoria :) your lovely comments are much appreciated!
I love this, and I think you managed the repeat wonderfully, it's gorgeous.
Love the beautiful flow of this print! Awesome!
Thank you for your lovely comment Sheila!
Love this! There is so much going on, but it is not overpowering. Nice flow... you want to look everywhere, and your eye is led from on path to the next. Great job! I loooovvvveeee your tree!
Thank you Leah, Susan and Angela! I'm so tickled that you picked up on the Hundertwasser influence Susan! He's definitely one of my favourites :) I showed a friend the design today and she picked up on the Marina Strocchi influence, so obviously my triple homage is working...!
Fantastic. I loved it right away! I was not reading your description and guess what? I was just about to comment "Hundertwasser," looked up, and saw that you had mentioned/channelled him. Awesome cus he is one of my favorite artists, and he was the first thought that came to my head! The curves, and natural and organic lines. I adore this pattern.
This is wonderful!
Thank you Diane, Lori and Melanie for your lovely comments! I love that you looked up my inspirations Lori :) Hundertwasser is one of my fave artists of all time.
This is gorgeous!!
Okay, so I had to go look up all the artists you mentioned in your description. Yes indeed, I can see them all! And a little Matisse too! Thank you for introducing me to such a treasure trove of inspiration! I especially like the colors and freedom of Friedensreich Hundertwasser. I think the influence of good memories from your childhood has really come through here. It's wonderful....
It's a beauty Boo! good luck!
I love the painterly style Robyn! It's amazing! I can't wait to see more!
Thank you Deborah! I do wish I could grow a tree that looks like that... and the repeat was a challenge - but I love a challenge! :)
Absolutely beautiful design That tree is amazing and I like that tractor. Great repeat. An original.
So glad you noticed the cow skull! :) I simply couldn't help myself, it had to be there! Thanks for the great comment!
Rich colors, fluid lines, and a cow skull by the pool! What more could one want.
Thank you Su! You make me want to paint!
This is great Boo! It does have that strange.... unusual... make-you-look-again blend of the purely aerial and the cross-sectional that made me think of the Central Desert Artists (can't wait to google your other sources, I love it that you named your inspirations!). What I really love about this is all the fabulous detail - the sparkling water on the dam, the powder puff sheep, the farmer's second-best truck full of hay bales in the paddock, the apples on the trees (that row of trees is divine) - more power to your paintbox!
Thank you Rhonda and Julie! Your lovely comments have brightened my morning!
Fantastic details Robyn! I love the apple trees in a row and the tyre swing as well as the fields and vegetable garden. You have done an amazing repeat with your artwork, it flows so beautifully!
There are so many fabulous features to feast the eyes upon in this fantastic design, Boo!
Thank you Ceri! The details were fun - especially the chickens ;-P
Could keep looking at this for ages. Lovely details!
A detail for closer view :)
Thank you Vo! No straight lines on this little farm ;-P!
Love those meandering fields and roads.
Thanks Rebel! Fun yes! But also a bit of hair pulling... it's the first time I've worked this way - was a steep learning curve... (which is why I did it!)
This is so lovely. I really like your style. Looks like you had fun with this one :)
Thank you Tina & Alex! I could use some practice but it was just great to get away from the screen to design for a change!
Fantastic! It is a masterpiece!!
