Thanks Renee, this was one of my favorite contest entries, I'm glad you like it! :)

This is so well done! Love your artwork!
Thanks Christine, Rhonda, Samarra, Shin and Rachel, you're all too sweet! I really had fun designing this one, so that makes me happy!

yeah, this is great, it should have done better.
I was also very surprised this one didn't place higher. I thought it was going to be a tight one between this and samarra's
Yup, this should have placed higher in the contest; it's so well-crafted and the gridded background added a nice amount of extra interest. Oh, and what's not to love about polka-dotted and striped seats on tractors!
A great retro feeling with this design. Lovely soft colours.
Your designs are always so pretty, there you go and do it again I see another winner! Best of luck
Got my printed swatch in for the teal version too...

T is for Tractor - TEAL :
I'm not usually a fan of words on fabric but I've seen a few fabulous exceptions this week - this is one of them. I love all the details in this design, both versions look great! Good luck in the contest.
Aw, thanks everyone!! I do tend towards soft, calm colors... I may just have to break it up a bit with the Halloween mask contest coming up. Cean, I've often salivated over the idea of making a cloth alphabet book, now if I could just get the next 3 months off I think I could do it! Uzumakijo and Samarra, I'm glad you like the green version (mmm... celery soup), he was starting to feel like the homely twin! :D
I haven't ready all your comments so I may be repeating something that has already been said but I am in awe of how well you created a "country" feel palette to complement the theme. I'm predicting week three ;)
patty, you are a master with calming colors! I love the feel of this fabric, with the cool colors and the vintage lettering and image, it just feels so nice and homey. Great job! You know of course now you have to do the rest of the alphabet....
absolutely lovely. Got my vote! love the soft colours
love this one too!
Beautiful job, Patty! I, too, was leaning towards the green (it's also my favorite color) as it kept making me think I wanted to cook some scrumptious soup up with celery...green celery! (the design has a nice kitchen-friendly feel to it). Alas, this blue version has more zing to it. Well done!
hahhaa i was just going to say go for the green - however i am so biased, i love green! probably best if you just ignore my not at all impartial opinion!!! either way it's such a fantastic and beautiful design, i hardly think it matters - will do brilliantly well anyhow! it's really lovely!
Thanks everybody for chiming in, I guess that settles it.... blue it is!
Beautiful as always! :)
this is just fabulous! beautiful!!! xxx
This design is *AWESOME* (as usual!)
Lovely. I like the water colour effect.
GORGEOUS! I could not imagine what to do with a tractor - if I could even draw a tractor! And you made something SO beautiful with it! Bravo!
Although my favorite colors is green, I like the blue better. For me, somehow a better contrast. I like the checkered background. A bit like a sketch from the boring math lesson.
I like the teal - gives it a nice antiquey feeling. Great use of color - the reds and golds have a really nice rhythm.
I can relate to the color choice dilema, I often have them, too. For yours I am leaning towards the blue, very farm-like.
Thanks Jillian for your feedback. I'm glad you like the seats, who says a farmer can't ride in style?! :P
I can't decide which one I like better either! They both look great. I like how the teal seems new and different, but the chartreuse seems calmer. I love the upholstered tractor seats! The vegetables are also a nice touch.
